`Chicago Tribune` entertainment columnist Aaron Gold makes an introduction at the 2001 ChicagoFest. Gold was a frequent contributor to news of the entertainment biz in print and on television, both locally and nationally. He was at the apex of his career when he died at 45 in 1983 at the beginning of the national AIDS crisis.
