Linden (Tilia) is the common name of up to 30 different tree and large type shrub species in the Malvaceae family. The flowers of many are considered medicinal. The most popular are the flowers of the Tilia cordata species. The homeland of this species is Europe-centered to the west of Asia, the Caucasus and Anatolia.
