A south china tiger is walking in the wild. South China Tiger (scientific name: Panthera tigris ssp. amoyensis): a feline and leopard species. It is a subspecies of tigers unique to China. The individual size of the South China tiger is relatively small, with the male tiger having a head and tail length of about 2.5 meters. Weighing approximately 150 kilograms, the female tiger has a head and tail length of approximately 2.3 meters, a tail length of 80-100 centimeters, and a weight of approximately 120 kilograms. The South China tiger has a round head, short ears, thick and powerful limbs, a long tail, and a lot of milky white on the chest and abdomen. The whole body is orange yellow and covered with black stripes.It is a typical mountain forest dwelling animal that lives in tropical rainforests and evergreen broad-leaved forests in southern China. It is also commonly found in mountain ridges, low forest shrubs, and mountainous deciduous broad-leaved forests and mixed coniferous broad-leaved forests with abundant rocks or gravel. Live alone, not in groups. Mostly active at night, with a well-developed sense of smell and agile movements, good at swimming, but not good at climbing trees. Carnivorous. Feeding on herbivorous animals such as wild boars, deer, and roe deer. Distributed only in China and living in central and southern China, it was declared extinct in the wild in 2012.
