Pictured is `A Queen in the form of a Sphinx` statue on display in the NMEC in Cairo, Egypt. This limestone and plaster sculpture id considered one of the oldest statues made in the form of a Sphinx for one of the ancient Egyptian queens. It is attributed to Queen Heterpheres II, the daughter of the King Khufu.
