Pictured is a little blue heron hunting in a shallow pool on the shoreline of Chokoloskee Bay in Florida. The binomial name is Egretta Caerulea. Chokoloskee Bay is roughly 10 miles long and 2 miles wide and is located along the Gulf Coast of Florida, separated from the Gulf of Mexico by the Ten Thousand Islands.
