Tourists look on as a herd of elephants from the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (Pinnewala) bathe in the Maha Oya River in central Sri Lanka. The elephants walk through the streets of Pinnawala twice a day from the orphanage to the river to reach the bathing spot.
