Gletang (Tridax procumbens) or commonly called Tridax daisy, is mostly found wild as a weed, a member of the Asteraceae family. Native to tropical America, the leaves are ovate or lanceolate with toothed edges. The small cream or white flowers have five petals that are notched on the outer edge. The center of the flower is yellow. Usually found in places that are dry, not muddy, exposed to a lot of sunlight or only slightly shaded, especially on sandy or rocky soil. In grass fields, dry rice fields, roadsides or railways, river banks, sand dunes, abandoned lands, etc.
