The blue jay Cyanocitta cristata is a medium sized passerine bird in the Corvidae family. It reside in most of the eastern and central U. S. It is common in residential areas. The blue jay has a black U shaped collar around it`s neck. It mainly feeds on nuts and seeds. It is very aggressive towards other birds, and sometimes raids the nests of other birds. It is a very noisy and bossy bird.
