A high over view of the remote town of Gulu in Uganda, Africa. Gulu is known for where the Joseph Kony and the child soldiers brought so much death and despair. However, this was taken after relief and aid workers, volunteers and organizations moved in and pushed Kony out. It has recovered and this is a typical midweek day with markets scattered along the main red dusty street of the very remote town of Gulu which is the only town for hundreds of surrounding villages for hundreds of miles. The image gives a hint of the diverse lifestyle of the people their and their strength at bouncing back after such despair and death that struck the town and the villages around.
