Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild was constructed between 1905 and 1912 at Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera between Nice and Monaco by the Baroness Beatrice de Rothschild. Design by the belgian architect Aaron Messiah, it is now open for public as a museum under the patronage of the Academy of Beaux-Arts and it is considered one of the finest properties on the French Riviera.
