Urakami Cathedral in Nagasaki, Japan was finish in 1925 and was the largest Christian structure in the Asian pacific region. The atomic bomb that struck Nagasaki fell only 500 meters from the cathedral. It was re-built in 1959 and in 1980 was re-modeled to closely resemble its original design.
