The September 1965 opening of the newly designed City Hall launched Toronto into an era of architectural experimentation. Finnish Architect Viljo Revell gave Toronto one of the world's most distinctive civic symbols and helped to create an instantly recognizable and attractive cityscape. Forty years later Toronto marked the anniversary of City Hall with a spectacular evening celebration hosted by Mayor David Miller. The event hold at Semptember 17th, 2005
