Pictured is `The Thinker` by Aguste Rodin at the Rodin Museum entrance, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a cast of the iconic 1902-1904 sculpture. It was cast in 1919 and installed in 1929. Rodin 1840-1917was a French sculptor who became the preeminent French sculptor of his time. His `The Thinker` created 1879-1889 is among the most recognized works in all of sculpture. Rodin modeled the human body with realism, and celebrated individual character and physicality.
