The Summer Palace, the ancient imperial gardens in Beijing, formerly qingyi park, located in the western suburbs of Beijing. Guangxu 26 years (1900 years), the Summer Palace, the eight destruction, treasures were sacked. On March 4, 1961, the Summer Palace was announced as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, and at the same time the release of chengde summer resort, the humble administrator's garden, lingering garden and called China's four big gardens, in November 1998, was included in the world heritage list. On May 8, 2007, the Summer Palace, the national tourism administration approval for the state 5 a-class tourist scenic spot. In 2009, the Summer Palace in the Chinese association of world record the largest imperial gardens in China.
