The status of Princess Wencheng (Princess of Tang Dynasty in mainland China ) and Songtsen Gampo (Tibetan King) in front of the historic city gate of Song Pan, Si Chuan, China, on a sunny day with clear blue sky. The Chinese emperor agreed to send a Chinese princess for Songtsan Gampo to marry. The story said that when Princess passed the war-torn Songzhou on her way to Tibet, she swore she would do her best to help Tibet live in peace with the Tang Dynasty.
