Benares is as famous as the Ganges and the Ghats. As you walk down the aisle, the image of the old Benares comes to mind. Due to the predominance of Hinduism, pictures of Hindu deities can be seen painted on the walls in most of the streets today. This picture is also taken in an alley where two baby girls are walking hand in hand holding a wall with a picture of a Hindu goddess.
