Pictured is the Star of David atop the Jewish Town Hall, in the former Jewish Quarter, Prague, Czech Republic. It was financed by Mordechai Maisel, and it was finished in 1568. The building is famous namely for its two clocks. The higher one has Roman numeral markings and the lower one Hebrew numbers and hands that turn counterclockwise, the same way as Hebrew is read – from right to left.
