Sports Palace Dome (Palacio de los Deportes) is an indoor arena located in Mexico City near International Airport, It hosted the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games. It is one of the main construction of architect Felix Candela. The dome consists of hyperbolic paraboloids of tubular aluminum covered with waterproof copper-sheathed plywood and supported by huge steel arches.
