Image shows fractured, split and eroded sand stone rock formation in Red Rock Canyon, Southern Nevada. These sand stones are part off fossilized desert dunes dating to the Lower Jurassic geological formation called Aztec formation of 70 million year old desert sediments. Area is also called Kraft Mountain and is southeast of Red Rock Canyon proper and north of Las Vegas, Nevada.
