The Singapore Flyer is currently the world’s tallest wheel observatory. With 28 fully air-conditioned capsules, visitors will be able to view the entire city centre, the Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan as well as Johor, Malaysia. A complete rotation of the ferris observation wheel takes approximately 30 minutes, offering you ample photo opportunities and to soak in the magnificent views. Be sure to make full use of your time at the flyer; hence do visit on a day when the weather is clear of haze or cloudiness. The view of the lighted city centre in the evening is also a sight to behold. Be it during the day or night, you’ll be treated to the panorama of the iconic Marina bay skyline. For those willing to spend more for even more enjoyment, you can check out the different packages such as the signature cocktail flight or even look to have dinner while getting high in your capsule! Getting There Take a train to City Hall MRT station. The Singapore Flyer is approximately a 10-15 minute walk away. Ample directional signs from the station will point you in the right direction. However, there is also a shuttle bus service from the bus-stop after exiting the MRT station that ferries passengers directly to the Flyer. Visit the Flyer website for further transport information and shuttle bus timings.
