The Silverthorne Ice Castles are a popular tourist attraction in Silverthorne, Colorado, USA. They are constructed entirely out of ice and depend on the cold winter air of the Rocky Mountains to crystallize and grow each night. By the end of the winter season, they could reach heights of 50 feet.
