Also known as Municipal Theatre of Ho Chi Minh City, this opera house is an example of French Colonial architecture in Vietnam. Built in 1897 by French architect Eugène Ferret as the Opėra de Saigon it was used since 1956 to 1975 as the home of the Lower House assembly of South Vietnam. It was restored to his actual shape in 1995
