This photo was taken at the Everest Base Camp(EBC), Which is at the north foot of Mt.Everest, Tibet. This site is at an altitude of about 5,200 metres (17,000 feet). When the sun rose, the Mt.Everest was still hiding behind fog, but the lower peaks were already painted pink by sunshine.
