Event: The 15th Vele d’Epoca di Imperia- Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge Date: from 10th to 14th September 2008. The 15th Vele d’Epoca di Imperia- Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge is a key nautic event of the Mediterranean Sea. During five days “Vele d’Epoca di Imperia†put together the most prestigious classic and vintage yachts, made of wood or metal and built before 1950 (vintage yachts category) or before 1976 (classic yachts category). There was also the “Spirit of Tradition†category with recent yachts that remind classic or vintage design but built with the last technologies. Over 100 boats representing 12 countries that took part at the regatta in the Imperia gulf. .
