Gerenuk or Waller's gazelle is found in east Africa, Somalia, Kenya and Tanzania. Only the adult gerenuk males have horns. They are herbivores who like to stand on their long back legs and stretch their long necks to eat low branches of trees and shrubs. They are a type of giraffe-necked antelope and they are a threatened species due to habitat loss in the wild.
