Named after the great romanian composer and violonist, the “George Enescu†National Museum is hosted inside Cantacuzino Palace, which is an European Heritage Label monument. The palace was built by Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, which was during his lifetime the leader of the Conservative Party of Romania, 2 times Prime Minister and Mayor of Bucharest. The palace is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Bucharest.
