The Millennium Bridge that spans the River Tyne between Gateshead and Newcastle, England. As shown here, it can tilt to allow vessels to pass beneath it. Normally the arc to the right of the picture is lowered to allow pedestrians and cyclists to cross. It has the nickname the 'winking eye'.
