This is a Winter picture of the Issac Ellwood Mansion in Dekalb, Illinois. The home of the barbed wire magnate was designed by George O. Garnsey, is a combination of the Gothiv Revival, Victorian, Georgian, and Colonial Revival styles of architecture. The house was built in 1879. The mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 13, 1978. This picture was taken on March 7, 2015.
