An elderly aged mother on a day out with her matured aged, senior daughter at the famous Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast feeding the beautiful brightly colored birds, the Australian native Rainbow Lorikeets. The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has been a trusted sanctuary for birds and wildlife of Australia for over 50 years. They have vets permanently on the payroll to rescue and rehabilitate animals that have been injured by motorists or bushfires. Every morning and afternoon, hundreds of wild Rainbow Lorikeet birds fly in to be fed their special, made up natural fruit nectar in aluminium plates that visitors can hold out themselves to feed the birds that fly in. And this is free, all they ask is a coin donation. This non-profit organisation has been the pride of the Gold Coast , Queensland for over 50 years.
