A National Historic Site of Canada, the Distillery District is a mixed use neighbourhood with a focus on historic buildings used as an entertainment precinct just east of Downtown Toronto. Cafés, restaurants, and shops are housed within heritage buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery - once the largest distillery in the world. Over 40 heritage buildings and 10 streets make up the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America.
