Pictured is detail of the nave on the north wall with a painting featuring Saint Joseph in the interior of the Piarist Church, Krems on the Danube, Austria. The church is the oldest in the city. It is also called Krems Frauenberg Church. The painting of Saint Joseph in the north wall nave is by Martin Johann Schmidt. Saint Joseph, husband of the Virgin Mary, is pictured holding Jesus in the top of the painting which is not seen in this picture. If you look very closely you can see the statue of Jesus has the sacred heart in his left hand.
