The undeveloped coastal habitat at Botany Bay Plantation Wildlife Management area is a cultural resource. Although the skeletons and reflections of dead trees line the shoreline, this beach is used for nesting by loggerhead turtles and tern, while the maritime forest and scrub areas provide a nesting and foraging habitat for songbirds and other species.
