Bengal Tigers are visible on safari at Sunderban National Park when they come out of the dense foliage to a waterhole or swamp to drink or take a bath. These big cats are considered endangered species and effort are underway to preserve the count of Bengal tigers at Sunderban. The current estimated count of tigers in this tiger reserve is considered to be 80-90 which have diminished substantially over the decade.
