The head of the Sphinx are portraits of this Pharaoh.In 1832 the sphinxes arrived in Petersburg.His place on the embankment sphinxes took in 1834.The griffins were cast in 1834.The figures of griffins were cast in bronze in the Year 1834. In the late 19th century the sculptures were lost.The restoration and opened in 1959
