Stock Photo: Adrenal Disease Ferret

ID 7271612 © Asw4303 | Megapixl.com

Dark sable male ferret with dark eyes and spotted nose. Loss of fur due to Adrenal Disease related to poor genes and breeding. There is no cure. The ferret is a domestic mammal of the type Mustela putorius furo. Ferrets are sexually dimorphic predators with males being substantially larger than females. They typically have brown, black, white, or mixed fur. When ferrets are older (3+ years), their teeth start to grow passed the natural line of the lower jaw and can be seen even when the mouth is closed. Ferrets are not in the rodent family, though many believe that to be the case. Ferrets are related to polecats.
