When the piston moves from the upper position to the bottom through the intake valve, the combustible mixture is sucked into the cylinder. This process occurs under constant pressure. When the piston reverses, the combustible mixture begins to compress. The compression is fast and therefore the process is close to adiabatic. At the end of the compression clock, the combustible mixture of electric spark is ignited. Under the influence of high pressure, the piston then makes a working move from the top position to the bottom. At the end of the working clock the final valve opens and the working body is released into the atmosphere.
